Welcome to the Happ Road Study project website!
The Village of Northfield, in partnership with the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways, has completed a study for potential future improvements to the Happ Road corridor. This study was the first step in a three phase process for public roadway improvements. This process is necessary so that the project will be eligible to receive federal funding through IDOT and the North Shore Council of Mayors (part of the Northwest Municipal Conference). This three phase project development process is described below:
